| | 1. Is it hard to ride? NO 2. Is Ktrak safe? Here at Ktrak Cycle, safety is our number one concern. Although we cannot guarantee that accidents will not occur, research has proven that these simple guidelines will decrease your chance of injury/death, and make your Ktrak experience pleasurable. 3. Is it hard to install? NO 4. Will it add weight to my bike? Yes, It will add some depending on your bike. On most adult mountain bikes after removing the back wheel you will be adding only 5-7 lbs. 5. Will it fit to my bike? It will fit to all mountain bikes 26” with disk brakes. 6. Will the Ktrak go uphill? Yes, if you can ride up it on your bike without snow, you can do it in the snow with Ktrak. 7. Will the Ktrak work on a hard tail or a full-suspension bike? Yes, to both. 8. How deep can the snow be for the Ktrak to work in? The Ktrak is designed for use in groomed, packed or fresh snow. When the snow depth starts to interfere with pedal stroke, you may have reached the maximum depth. Snow conditions will affect the performance. 9. Does the Ktrak come with its own gears? Yes, the Ktrak comes with 6-speed cassette of gears with the same spacing as an 8 or 9-speed cassette. 10.Can Ktrak be ridden on hard surfaces? Ktrak has been designed for soft or yielding terrain. The track drive design relies on its ability to skid to turn, so although the Ktrak can operate on hard surfaces, it is not recommended due to the potential for damage and extreme wear.
